چکیده

Among different topical drug delivery systems, nanoemulsions (NEs) are attractive due to enhanced skin permeation potential and minimum toxicity. Topical nanoemulgels (NEMGELs) contain both gelling agents NEs thus can enhance with sustained effects at the site of application. Oxybutynin (OXB) is an anti-muscarinic agent that administered orally treat hyperhidrosis but its systemic side may decrease patient compliance. Therefore, it assumes oxybutynin-nanoemulgel (OXB-NEMGEL) release properties ability be a suitable alternative. Using Design Expert software ® , 17 OXB-NE formulations were prepared optimized based on particle size, zeta physical stability. Three polymers used prepare OXB-NEMGEL spreadability viscosity. In-vitro ex-vivo investigated for formulation. The model suggested by Design-Expert was quadratic there significant association between response variables including size independent (Oil:Surfactant ratio, Oil:Water surfactants HLB) P-values 0.0334 0.0173, respectively. Also, lack fit not (P-values 0.057 0.569, respectively) which confirms fitness this model. Average 99 ± 0.1 nm -57.3 0.5 mv, Carboxymethyl cellulose-based (CMC-NEMGEL) showed acceptable viscosity shear thinning rheological pattern good released OXB within 8 h. Ex-vivo revealed flux 1.5 0.3 3.6 0.2 ?g/cm 2 /h after 12 24 h, respectively, equal 5.3 1.1% 11.9 0.7% drug, while simple gel did permeate through layers. Thus, effective would novel promising system management lower effects.
